Talking dice for the blind

There are some blind people already playing backgammon (I have two students) and there is a potential for many more. It would help greatly if there were a dice generator that talks.

Does anyone know of the existence of such a device or have any ideas how we might get something made?

There is an organization for the blind here in Chicago that has expressed an interest in teaching backgammon to blind people, and I am looking into supply boards where the checkers are different texture. I can also use non-precision dice so they can feel the dice, but we know this creates problems in moving the dice and changing the rolls.
