Thanks Colin.

These were all eleven point matches. The type of clock used did not allow radically different clock settings so it was necessary to use the same delay time for both players. I set the time to 30 mins plus 15 secs delay and then reuced Yan's opponents time to 22 mins by allowing that side of he clock to run.

These setting seemed to work well when Yan Kit had a monitor, as was the case at this tournament when Su joined him. In matches where Yan does not have a monitor, at the start, I would opt for 33 mins plus 15 secs delay. Note that in all the six rounds of play, Yan Kit's matches were not the last to finish so the tournament was not prolonged.

From discussions with Yan Kit, we both think it would be useful to try using a baffle box, as this would allow Yan to dispense with a dice cup and generally make cocked dice far less likely.

It was a great pleasure to myself, the tournament staff and all the players to have Yan Kit participate in this tournament, and likewise for any future BMS tournaments he participates in.
