I'm sure everyone would endorse your last statement there.

I own several clocks so, in case you're unaware of different clocks capabilities, I'll give some info on settings.

Firstly, there should be a quicker way to get the time down on the basic (blue) Saitek's that you use: on the (silver) Saitek Competition Pro and, I guess also, on the blue ones you have, you can edit the times during a match, up or down, to correct for any mistakes of timing - like someone's clock running during a break - or indeed to impose penalties. If this is possible on the blue model, that will definitely be quicker than waiting 8 or 11 min or whatever for the runoff!

The Competition Pro model does have the capability to start with different reserve settings for the players. However, that should not be necessary, as it can also employ different delays as well! I'm sure that's what you'd prefer.

The Excalibur Game Time II cannot have separate delay settings, but it can be set with separate reserves.

Yan Kit used a baffle box against me a year or two back at St Albans. It was already set up on my right, and he immediately offered to use it as well. It was a Simborg one, so this may have encouraged him, as he was a student of his at the time! Best to place it next to the outer boards, of course.
