This basically justifies your thoughts. In many BG position whether it be play or cube it can be on a tipping point. This calls for a rollout to calm the agitated mind. The rollout of course analyses from the position. This certainly does not invalidate the default analysis available they certainly have value. As a human I would certainly recognise this as a potential cube position and calculate a game winning chance. No cube for me as runners not away. A rollout tells me that its D/T in both cases. Am I upset ? certainly not. On another day my human analysis which is obviously not to the decimal point will be correct. Will I be punished for getting this wrong ? I guess it depends on whom I'm playing. I wonder what the real interest is in this post.
