Is bot analysis of manually altered positions reliable?

For positions that are not extreme backgames I doubt it makes much difference. Here is a way to check.

Look at XG++ analysis and compare to RO results for opening rolls based on long rollouts and find the average error. Then for each side move a checker from 13/8 making a position which is orders of magnitude less likely to occur than the opening position. Find the XG++ for each non doublet and do a long RO (using same settings that were used for that roll's RO from actual opening position). Find the average error.
