One of the many reasons I hate dealing with hotels.

An hour ago I called the Flamingo in Vegas and tried to make a reservation as Howard's site says to do so by today. After a 10 minute run around I am told that the specified rate is sold out and offered higher rates for the week days which are usually cheaper and told that nothing is available for the weekend.

I thought this was a contract between Howard and the hotel and these dates were firm. Yes, I gave them the special event number from the online link.

Anyhow, I just finished booking my room at the spec. rates and with ease online.

Why did I call in? One wonders, but I simply prefer to minimize how often I give my credit card number online as I have been hacked before.

Anyone needing a room in Vegas do it ASAP please and online.
