I announced this release on a few other forums yesterday and got some feedback on Bill Robertie 2+2 forum. One thing that was mentioned was the board didn't have the proper dimensions. I made an effort to improve on this which apparently is a big improvement:
This almost looks as good as a Geoffrey Parker board! Almost! Or perhaps I am a bit delusional here... :-)
With this change I also threw in a few more options for selecting checkers:
The Latest comments sections has gotten a face lift and is now called 'Position forum':
Whenever you come across an amusing position and add a comment it will end up here and it is easier to navigate through comments here than with a single list. You can arrow key down through the comments (desktop) and sort the positions in different ways. Order numerically, group by position type or by number of comments. Clicking a second time on one of the sort options reverses the order.
Adding Backgammon Studio as an app on your phone with 'Add to homescreen' option now works better as you can lower back to homescreen and go back to Backgammon Studio without having to log in again.
There is now a 'My duels' section where you can revisit past duels and review the positions in the duel:
There is now a 'message of the day' message informing you about using a better menu display option if you are using the classic menu but have a rather narrow width screen. In this case you should change it to Dialog or Hidden menu which gives Backgammon Studio more room to display other content:
