What I heard is that clock rule from Vegas is “Optional”, I was sure in the past the rule was “ preference”, but I checked the brochure and it says only clock preference in doubles and SJ. A final from such a tournament should be clock mandatory or at least clock preference. (I think Akiko wanted to play with clock but her opponent didn’t). It has been showed the use of clock is so much better for the game and not only for time issues that I can not understand why some tournaments still have “ optional” policy for Open division. (in a perfect bg world clock should be use for all categories).
