XG and the coup classique

I don't know if this is a well-known bug in XG. It played an ace-point game at DMP, I took off 14 checkers, it hit the 15th and went mad, playing 6/5 in this position:

Under XG++, that move was considered inferior to plays that keep the 5-prime but only marginally. That's probably because in one of the upcoming moves it would abandon the 6-point anyway.
In the actual game, XG missed several occasions to make a 5- or 6-prime, keeping the 6-point open for my escapes.
