Looking for Code to turn XGID into a bgonline html diagram

The flashcards I'm making for anki would be a lot easier,less error prone, and smaller if I wasn't copying and pasting images out of XG.

Anki uses python plugins so it would be extremely simple to create a plugin that took the XGID field as an input and pasted the html board diagram as an output in the diagram location.

The more time consuming part is the Method/Function that turns a XGID into bgonline/gol html.

Any suggestions or code snippets would be appreciated. I'll be trolling the internet looking for source code for most of the rest of this evening :)
