I can see where you're coming from but for me adding the letters for each point is another layer of complexity I don't want to think about.

I have started to use your system but kept the familiar point numbers which I find quicker for recording live matches and gives me enough info to reconstruct the match:
WhiteRed

21 13 643 24 24
51 b 651 b 6
54 b b63 b 20...

This can easily be entered into xg or proper format later:
