I think I'd play B/16 because often we can hit loose later with still blots available for picking up. 6/3* is difficult to put together again, and a number of hits clean up (partly and in some cases completely). If you play B/16, you may be able to hit loose next while keeping the core part of your prime and board.

I would not have a strong opinion, because I know that 6/3* may well be right. I know I don't know, in short.
