With only 11 front checkers and nothing, better stir it up for a backgame or put some pressure on him than let him run around the school:) How do you know it OTB? The rule should read: After making the structure of a backgame, if one can't play constructively he shoud at least play purely. That way one could at least reach a proper timing...
