I feel a little nervous being in such exalted company but why not. My method of entering the home board and bearing off stood me well in both examples. In the days of snowie it used to amuse me how it played in to the home board. I was obviously aware I would never understand the logic so created my own system, keep it simple. I played this many times against snowie and then subsequently against XG. In over 200 games it let me down once, cant be bad. You play to the 6, 5, and the magic 4 bearing in and fill gaps as necessary bearing in mind wastage. If you can get two chequers in do so. If it needs both rolls to get one in do so. As I said giving due value to common sense wastage. There are just as simple rules to bearing off. Its a good day when one sees this care and attention pay off. Bearing in and bearing off is the same process init. On looking at Mr levy and Mr Stick further examples I was not surprised to find common sense was enough, keep it simple.
