Get into some back games and some complicated cube decisions and the PRs go up, and if the dice dont put you into complicated games or dont give you difficult rolls to play, thr PRs go down.
When s Giant plays at 2 PR one match snd 6 the next you really dont think its because he was off his gsme that much do you? Sure, he could have blown a couple of decisions but for the most part it is a matter of how lucky or unlucky he was to get easy or difficult decisions. The only way to judge a player's skill is looking at a lot of PR's.
Now, there is no question that if you take two players who play about the same, one might be far better than the other st speedgammon. That throws in a new variable and skillset.
