XG help

I'm trying to help someone out who is having an issue with how XG is displaying moves when analyzing positions. You can have it set up to show the initial position, final position, or the initial position with arrows pointing to the final position. I do not have access to his computer, but he's telling me that his is set to "final position", and when he selects "arrow", that it reverts back to "final", and the setting change does not save. When I change the settings on my XG, close the program and reopen it, the settings are saved.

I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, or knows of a solution.
