Maybe I am underestimating the risks of leaving a checker back with 21/18(2) 13/7.

I see 21/18(3) as to committal to the race but what if the DBs roll 24 pips, wouldn't we be better off at least getting a return shot?

I still like 21/18(2) 13/7 and in case of 21/18(3), I prefer 13/10 for the last three.
