Another Question on Clocks

If a director puts a clock on a match in progress due to slow play how many minutes does each player get? If it is 3-away, 6-away, as an example, do they get different amounts of time? Can't imagine that as you don't necessarily know who has caused the problem. If Bronstein's are being used with 12 sec/2 min settings, do they get 6 minutes each or 12 minutes each? Again, due to uncertainly of who is playing slow I would imagine 12 minutes each. But then the slow player, if he is leading, may have just gotten rewarded for slow, deliberate play in the early part of the match. The other guy doesn't have the same opportunity for slow, deliberate play late in the match. Just curious for future reference.

Another reason clocks should be on the matches from the start.
