There are only a few who are so foolish as to learn these things. What is worth knowing is the theme of this score and general ways to apply the theme. Gammons won are worth more than normal assuming Blue will turn the cube properly and gammons lost probably cost less. You have to be a little careful that you don't give White a chance to play for a gammon with the cube centered. It is worth considering an attacking play which would not be best at even scores. Others have already made good comments on the attacking play of choice. Note that hitting on the ace point isn't a candidate. It does little to prevent white from anchoring. Hitting on the ace makes more sense when white has split to the bar. That is much more likely to prevent the anchor. Attacking generally means trying to deprive opponent of an anchor. Bringing attackers into range is often better than unmotivated loose hits.
