I can't estimate wins and gammons well enough to be able to adjust reliably for the score and would make the same play ATS and for money.

My general rule of thumb for blitzing is that making a home-board point usually trumps hitting. There are exceptions, especially when the choice is between hitting on a high point and making a low point, but here, after 5/2, the choice is between making the 5pt and hitting loose on the 4pt, so I think that making the point is better. White's good board also points towards not leaving a direct shot.
