Well, I saw yours. :) After reading your reply I wondered if I should have expounded a little more on why I don't like three checkers (or even two) on the 7-point. It certainly has to do with my allergy of having checkers on points 6-apart. I figure we may need to play a 6 next turn other than from our 18-point in which case I like 7/1 covering, not 7/1 stacking/wasting.

Apparently you now don't like 5/1 so much, either.

I don't know if "saving 6's" is an issue here. I was just thinking there are more important things to be concerned with (like building a good HB). So far I don't think anyone is arguing for saving 6's, though.
