I'm sold. My original vote was for 7/3 4/1. I am switching to 7/4 7/3. If the race were not close, I would stick with my first play. I believe it gives the best chance of completing a closed board.

With the race as it stands, we do better to cross over. Saving 6s is not needed. Many times, a 6 can be played running the rear checker. At some point, we will need to do that, even if it means leaving a shot.
