People cube these things too soon in general and pass much too soon.

With White having 7 off, if he owns the cube and covers his ace pt after you miss, you're barely a fav. With the prime that far outside and with no builders there's lots of work to do after hitting.

Recubing this will likely earn Blue a ride on the BK express.

From a practical standpoint, all the checker play skill required from here is Blue's, and that should make recubing even a more serious error.
