Upping the rollout parameters from your standard 3ply/XGR to XGR+/+ with a large search interval did make a small difference pushing this into pass territory but still quite the efficient cube and as mentioned elsewhere, all the tough checker plays reside with the person doubling. This must make it a practical take still.
