If B/23 24/20 works and we make an advanced anchor, we have done a lot to neutralize the Dillies early advantage. If we play 13/9, then even if we get to make a good point next, we will trail in development. Also, 13/9 starts stripping the midpoint, and try to build why split at the other side, against a stronger board with an added attacker, so we might well not be able to play our move to build a point. In sum, 13/9 looks like trying to do too much. And OK, 24/20 is the DMP play.
