EUBGF News: Tournament Rules and Statutes

In Response To: EUBGF News: Tournament Rules and Statutes (European Backgammon Federation)

Excellent news and congratulations to the members of the EuBGF in producing a set of rules which has consensus agreement across most of Europe.

Hopefully the remaining countries in Europe not yet members (or associate members) of the EuBGF will also be content to adopt these comprehensive and very well constructed rules. Moreover, other national federations outside of Europe will hopefully consider adopting these model rules as a basis for their own national rules. This way the backgammon players in the world will have a commonality of approach and philosophy which would be a very important step towards building a democratically based worldwide federation.
