Octalfinalist? That's a new one (to me)! I thought the round before the quarter finals were the eighth finals?

The term eighth final is sadly out of vogue now in most sports, though it's far neater than 'the round of 16'. In basketball though, they even refer to the sixteenth finals, though that terms perhaps sounds slightly clumsy. I think I prefer 'the 4th Round' of the FA Cup!
