In Response To: San Antonio has Burger Kings, too (Chuck Bower)

When you have a healthy racing lead, your concern is safety. You do not want to leave five pieces outside because you do not want to leave a shot with 66 next turn. When the race is closer, you have other considerations: you want to own your 4pt because (1) you do not want to miss with 4s in the bearoff and (2) you want to be able to smack your opponent around if she/he breaks anchor leaving one checker back.

I challenge Dr. Chuck Bower, retired professor of astrology or astronomy (one or the other or both) at Indiana University, (or anyone else) to find and post the DMP, GG and GS cusps.
