Off-the-cuff, I see three interesting plays.

  • 8/5* 6/5
  • 6/3 24/23
  • 6/3 6/5*

Taking a closer look at these moves, 6/3 24/23 is a bit too passive, since it doesn't hit the Prime Factor's blot on the 5-point, which is mandatory in my opinion. Yet, I'm at a loss to choose between the two hitting plays. 8/5* 6/5 will make the 5-point, and leaves two blots giving the PrimeFactor's 18 return shots (4 double hits). After this play, we'll have three very good points on our side of the board. 6/3 6/5*, however, makes the 3-point and slots the 5-point volunteering 17 return shots. After this play, we'll have four very good points on our side of the board, including the 8-point which blocks the checker on the 2-point. Unfortunately, we won't have the 5-point.

Still not sure, I choose 6/3 6/5*
