PR or Luck? (Time management)

"Winning the first game in the set increases the win chance of the match by a small amount and if the score is tied 10-10, then winning the last match is a huge increase of 50%. But suppose that you lose such a match 11-10. A blunder which cost a win in the first game actually was worth a tremendous amount, you just did not know it at the time."
There is a huge leap in logic between the first and second sentence which I don't follow at all.
This seems to be like carrying out a one game rollout. Whatever single events occur at the end of the match don't appear to have a significant influence on the equity after a earlier game. The event you cite is just one of multiple possibilities.
In game #1 the match equity at stake will typically be about 15%, whereas at DMP it is 100%. And they are both of the same value by your analysis?
