Switching from normalized equities to cost shows that the luck factor was 116.4%. I didn't realize it could exceed 100% and never saw it exceed 100% before. This is very strange.

Luck (expressed as MWC) usually isn't greater than 100% when two reasonably strong players play each other, but it can actually be arbitrarily large. For example, suppose a player makes a 5% MWC error/blunder and then is immediately bailed out with a great roll worth +5% MWC on his next roll. Suppose this process repeats 100 times. The player has just gained +500% luck (expressed as MWC); at the same he has made 500% MWC worth of errors.
