I understand 17/11. You do not have the timing to hold both anchors, and if you break now, you will get a lot of returns when hit. I would play 6/5 OTB to duplicate 2s, and still don't see 9/8 as the play. Builder for the 2? Slot for the 8 instead of the 9? Different numbers to make the 8 and slot the 4 rather than make the 9 and slot the 4? All do not seem major considerations.
