It is hard to say what the ranking "should" be like, when we all seem to have different definitions of what we base our ranking on.

If we go by skill alone, of course Nack, Gus etc are insanely underrated, but are they active? Well, that again is a matter of definition...

I don't know David Presser, but he seems to be a strong player based on BMAB average. Thomas Myhr is among the 32 best players in the world, but not in the top 64 of the rankings.

Personally, I voted only based on skill level as estimated from the information I have. Clearly, most people don't, and it is hard to say they should.
