It is no good that the voting criteria are so loose because once the list comes out there is only one interpretation of it: it's a ranking of who the best players are. Noone interprets the list as a collection of people who made the biggest contributions.

There's also a need to clarify if only performances from the last 2 years can be considered or if performances from the past can be considered. Finally, how active is active? Is 1 tournament pr year enough?

If the voting criteria are tightened and clarified, then it be harder to vote for old timers and friends.
