It would be interesting and fun to make a rankings list on number of hours (summed over one's lifetime) invested in the study of the game. I don't mean play (which, of course, is a kind of study) nor writings (ditto times 1.5), nor teaching (double ditto), but just looking at positions, bot results, using pencil, paper, calculator, hand rollouts, match equities and their associated calculations, spreadsheet calculations -- all that tedious stuff.

It is my expectation that Ed would be near the top of that list.
