I must now agree with Neil, for many of the reasons Neil cites.

I've said earlier in this thread that I hope the Giants survive. That is no longer the case.

Following threats and dramatic ill wishes against me today I must agree with Neil.

The Giants List should be abolished.

Sadly, our Internet world, our global divisiveness (as if domestic divisiveness is not enough), envy, jealousy, and the like cannot permit civil discourse and differences of opinion in any arena.

So, congratulations to the schemers and manipulators; congratulations to the enablers and pranksters; congratulations to those absorbed with envy, jealousy, and greed; congratulations to the accused cheaters; and congratulations to the stewards; you have likely destroyed an institution, or allowed an institution to be destroyed. I now want to see it ended and committed to history.

If it survives, I hope it is afforded the insignificance it deserves.

It is a sad day. Que sera.
