USBGF ratings- good tool

I love the ratings and statistics provided by USBGF. It is great to be able to see ELO, win percentage victories..etc. I believe it is an excellent database and defacto rating system.

I want to reiterate what I have heard passively in the past..

The divisions should be separated. To have statistics from beginner /intermediate/ and open together does nothing but cloud the statistics.

I also see win percentage as a great indicator to tell apparent sandbaggers to play open level. I learned from the stats that the 3 players with the highest winning percentage (with over 50 wins).. are all intermediate players.

As a tool I think medium/long term winning percentage is an even better indicator than Larson/Silliman to determine eligibility.
