What the heck -- I didn't even know you could *set* a cube limit! Were you able to tell by looking at the graphic I pasted in, or did you just sort of figure that must be the image? I think you're right, because that also answers another problem I was having, which was that when I was playing out the position, it wasn't giving me a chance to double, but auto-rolling for me right after the computer made its play.

. . . so, how do I change that setting? I've hunted through the menus and not seeing it. I see that when I choose "Play From Position" there's a 'Cube Limit' setting under 'Options' -- but I never touched that, and it's showing '1024' . . . so, how do I fix this? Can't find anything on 'Cube Limit' in the Help menus.....

It's a little scary that I could turn this on without meaning to -- in a lot of positions the results mightn't be so far wrong that you'd notice -- I could really screw up my game this way. Any idea how this would have happened unintentionally? I was using Phil's suggested means of Copying/Pasting the position with keystrokes -- and I copied it to a text document on my desktop. Would the Cube limit be expressed in the position ID? Could I have trimmed off a space or two or a carriage return at the end? (I'm assuming the XG ID string would end with a visible character, right?)

Thanks for your help!
