'Deliberate Learning' XG confusion

Igor, while I have your attention maybe you can help out further. I've been playing out the position, careful to have the proper XG ID now, and it seems to work at first . . . but what I am finding now is that it prompts me to Roll or Double for awhile, but at some point starts auto-rolling me again. It seems to be in cases where I failed to properly double -- it's as though it's saying "Don't want to double, eh? Then I won't give you the option!". I haven't been able to figure out whether it's a matter of what 'Mode' I'm in.
So, for instance, in this situation, I was prompted to Roll/Double for several turns, but in this position it didn't give me the option to double and just rolled the 42 for me.
Sometimes it feels as though maybe I hit the space-bar twice on accident, but I've been real careful here to press /release once, crisply. Any ideas?
