I'm intrigued with this statement as it's something I've wondered about. My impression (based on nothing in particular) is that averaging 60% wins in Open play would reflect a very substantial edge, but I wouldn't have thought it to be 'rare' among the stronger players in the field.

I'd be curious to know what % of Open players average 60+% wins -- and also what win % the truly World Class players tend to achieve over the long run?
