Two restaurants my wife I found and enjoyed within within 20 min walk.

Azuga Sabor Latino on S. Alamo. Went for lunch one day and back for dinner another evening. Great Latin fusion flavors.

Augies BBQ 909 Broadway. Traditional BBQ joint, cafeteria style, large portions of brisket, pork and chicken. Wait in line for lunch, its worth it.
