USBGF Federation Cup On-Line Tournament

The U.S. Backgammon Federation is pleased to announce the launch of the 2016 USBGF Federation Cup. This free entry online tournament for all USBGF members – including Premium, Youth, and Basic members and both U.S. and international members – is sure to be one of the biggest and most exciting online tournaments of the year and features an excellent $1,000 prize pool donated by Prime Benefactors of the USBGF.

To encourage new members to join the USBGF and former members to renew their memberships to play in this special event, the U.S. Backgammon Federation is extending its special membership promotion to March 31, 2016. Premium members joining or renewing for one-year ($60) and Basic members joining or renewing for one-year ($35) receive 3 additional months of membership; those Premium members joining or renewing for three years ($150) receive 9 additional months of membership.

The first place winner of the Federation Cup Playoff will receive $500, second place $250, and third/fourth $125. To obtain a place in the Playoff, players must win a 32-player qualifier bracket. USBGF members who lose a qualifier bracket may re-enter up to two additional times (but may not re-enter after winning a qualifier bracket).
