Even XG 3-ply is confounded by these snake-eyes

Ahead in the race stepping up and breaking the 8 point could be right. But I like making the four point, which I think leaves us in better shape if we're not primed or hit and gives us some chances even if we are. Maybe XG is confounded over how to play a four if we make our four point.
