One thing to keep in mind when working with the Jacobs&Trice tables is that they are 20 years old and match equity theory has advanced quite a bit since then. It's worthwhile to check if the J&T table for equal skill (jacobs.xml in gnubg) gives a sensible result for the score in question when compared to modern match equity tables. For some scores that table seems to severely underestimate the chances of the trailer, a trait which is then inherited by the J&T tables for unequal skill.

In the case of 22a:7a, it is not a big deal though. Jacobs has 4.9%, while Kazaross-XG2 has 5.3%. Still, it could mean that the 7.7% you quote for a skill difference of 100 Elo should really be an 8.x%.
