Yeah, it sure looks like a holding game to me. Not sure why it wouldn't be considered a holding game.

White has no board, blue has an advanced anchor and trails in the race. That says BOLD, so the hit seems obvious. Then it's a choice between making the bar point or bringing one down. Making the bar leaves fewer shots but the other play brings an eleventh checker into the zone. I'll go for the latter, but not entirely sure.

13/11 8/7* for me.

QF says it's something odd like 9/7* 6/5
