Have you noticed this before?

Has anybody ever noticed, that on many scores, your non-zero gammon value equals your match equity assuming you have won a gammon!
I just mathematically derived that based on a certain assumption/approximation.
I wonder if anybody had heard or noticed that before?
That certain approximation I used is: assuming Your match equity equals O/(P+O), which is pretty close in scores less than 6-a,6-a. (P: player score-away. O: opponent score-away)
Have you ever noticed this one? If you have, have you ever tried to derive different values based on this approximation?
Well, I did and I derived all kinds useful formulas!
My favorite one is the Take Point! (with this formula you don't need MET data, you directly calculate your TP)
Dead Cube Take Point = P/2(O+P-1)
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
P.S.
First timer here, please be gentle if I somehow made a fool of myself!
