Re pos #1, I can believe it is a pass. Blue has no really bad rolls, White might roll small numbers and be forced to waste pips, White might run one man out and have the straggler get pointed on, White's 2 checkers on the 21-point are 30 pips away from his 6-point while Black's outfield checkers are just 6 pips away from his 6-point.
