What do you mean? XG already supports 5-ply luck evaluation.
I'm not sure how major an improvement it would be. Anyway, I reluctantly agree with Rick that for BMAB as it is today PR may be much more useful than VRR, because PR is an absolute measure and because, as a per-move measure, it converges faster than VRR (regardless of the ply). A VRR based Elo rating on the other hand would, in my opinion, be very viable even with 1-ply luck evaluation, provided enough data in the form of transcribed matches were available.
