Doesn't look like slotting behind the anchor is right. That leaves either 24/20 or 13/9.

13/9 appears more aggressive and progressive. However, in order for that to work we must cover, and even succeeding that we sometimes face an awkward second half of the roll (often slotting behind the anchor -- something we're trying to avoid this turn).

24/20 gives Dillies 5 rolls to cleanly PoH there, and another 20 to hit loose. Those 20 include 55 which probably is better played elsewhere. Their loose hitting aces aren't great because of the 6-point strippage, but they may not have comfortable aces anyway.

If the alternatives to 24/20 were likely to lead to stronger positions than appear then I would go for one of them. As it is, since we can use the 20-point (and 18-point and 16-point hardaways) plus the fact that gammons don't hurt us, I'm moving up from the 24-point:

24/20
