A rule of thumb is to hit loose in your homeboard when there's nothing else to do. It gains a tempo and takes away half their roll. Since I'm not seeing anything better than 8/3*/2 (20/14? 13/7? 13/8 6/5? 8/3* 4/3?) I'll go with that.
